"There are many African-American scholars ... who are making major contributions in their fields. Cornel West of Harvard is not one of them," David Horowitz argues from this piece on the FrontPageMag.Com web site. Horowitz blames the gutting of Harvard's curricula while West was a student there for West's bizarre and unconvincing version of Marxism, which seems like a bit of a stretch to me.
